Making Progress

August 06, 2010 by JKillz

The month of July has been nothing short of a wild and crazy ride. We had our 2nd Event and it was really awesome to see nearly 75 able-bodied clones taking it to some of the tougher creatures in Sector 1. We also saw one of the largest single updates to the site with 7 locations added and tons of other additions to help compliment our effort to become the go-to place for wastelanders.

We have a ton more in store for everyone and soon after this article goes up, we plan to have yet another massive update announced on the site. We have been working very hard to bring the rest of Ascendant Ridge and the Toro areas to you as we inch closer to the ultimate goal we currently have, and that is the completion of Sector 1. So keep your eyes peeled over the next few days, we have lots to share.

Also, with Sector 1 near completion, we've been getting some questions from site visitors about the future of this massive project and we would like to share a bit about what we have planned. Once the core data is collected for Sector 1 and we can comfortably say it is done, we plan to spend nearly two months putting together the more cosmetic sections we've been planning. The Storylines and Stats areas are the first we plan to really update. We also have literally over 50 guides in mind, so getting even half of those out will be fantastic. Some of this is quite a bit off, but we've decided that we will not only do these large-scale projects, but we will also continue on into Sector 2 at the same time. This will allow us to creep into this new area and slowly roll out data from there while really focusing on some of the lesser areas or areas that have not gotten as much love over the last few months.

We're really excited with where things are going and really appreciate the help we get from such players as Chris Westwood & Tee Van Cleef and the Legends of the Fall clan, as well as other contributors like Nina Slave and some of the folks from Wolves of War. Please feel free to reach out to us anytime you are interested in sharing guides or data, we're much obliged to accept the help and make note of your contributions, so thanks in advance.

In the meantime, take care and 'Do the clone thing!'
