A Glimpse into the Future

November 06, 2010 by JKillz

Hello clones,

I must admit that time flies when you're having fun. The team and I have been quite busy, not just working on Broken Future and GlobalTech Atlas, but also just playing the game in general. We constantly meet new people from all over the world and appreciate their kind words about what we are doing here. This is a driving force for us and we strive to continue with a high level of detail and accuracy.

With October now behind us, we want to recap some of the past updates we've made. First off, even though S1 is complete for the most part, we have lots of data that we still plan to include. My personal favorite is the upcoming Boss List which gives locations and drop logs for all the Veterans, Bosses, and Masters found within S1. We did not include mission-only bosses, just the ones you can go back to over and over with friends to get that sweet loot. This is just one of many lists we have nearly finished and ready to release.

Another very exciting batch of data we are currently working on is S2. We already have Sunshine Corners, Credit Bend, and Post 23 finished and ready for release, but we plan to share this with the rest of the 6 Faction Towns by the end of the month. As you can see, we are spread very widely across a vast list of projects and will be releasing more sections to the site while we finished the starting areas in S2. This way you have some useful data while you wait patiently.

Lastly, we are hard at work to make a site overhaul for the end of the year. We plan to update the site navigation to make it easier and more appealing to the eye. We are looking into site ads also to help cover costs and plan to get a few new features that will be covered by the tiny revenue ads will bring. Also, when we release S2, we have a new theme those pages will be designed in to help remind players that they are in the S2 part of the site and for visual pleasure.

That should give everyone a good idea of what to expect over the next month or two. Before I go, I want to say thanks to Thor from the Legends of the Fall for his help this past month with some of our data collecting on Bosses and Serendipity Mobs, you're a great guy and a helpful contributor to our data collection efforts, it is much appreciated.

In the meantime, take care and 'Do the clone thing!'
